Here are Olivia and Samantha with Elijah. Olivia only has 5 words: ma ma, da do, yeeeeeh, naaaaaaaa, and Elijah. She loves to go out and help in the yard.
My sweet Samantha at her "Teddy Bear Picnic" this week at school. It was pot luck and the luck was bad. I brought sliced oranges and apples and apart from that and 3 other dishes, everything was sugar (including two plates of marshmellows....yes! marshmellows as a dish for a children's lunch--what in the world?) Kailtyn was kind to lend this special bear to Samantha since Samantha's only teddy bear is taller than she is.
Here are the girls with Kamryn (back L) and her sister Julia playing in the "sand box"....At least, that's what it's supposed to be. It is formed from left over "sand" from building the guard house by the gate and our landlord said we could do whatever we would like with it. So, I had Elijah remove some of it and form this sand box for the girls (we all know how much Samantha likes to be dirty). Well, it turns out, this particular "sand" practically turns to concrete when mixed with water (hence it's good building properties as mortar). So the girls can build very nice, sturdy structures, but then you have to file them back down to use the sand again. The plastic "beach" toys are not holding up well. Kaitlyn and Kamryn are beginning a 3 story castle. So far, after 2 days of work, they've laid the foundation. Samantha and Julia were required to hose off all the mud outside before coming in the house, and Samantha had to leave her pants at the door. After all that, the tub was still filled with mud when they got out!
We all have one of these pictures don't we? Well, I didn't want Olivia to be left out. What is it with big shoes that fascinate babies? Whatever it is, they sure are cute!
Olivia came into the office while I was on email earlier this week wearing Kaitlyn's headband. She was so cute (as you can see :) ) Is there any doubt she is one of my girls?
Olivia again. You may have to double click to enlarge the picture to see what she is doing. I was washing dishes and listening to my ipod (thanks Amy, Chris, Carrie and Anthony--I love it), when Olivia decided that she should get to listen too. So I have one earphone in and she is listening to the other! (She loves it too guys--and knows how to turn it on).
