Our House

Well, I've finally taken some pictures of the house and yard.  As I was taking them, I realized it's hard to see from a photo due to all the surrounding trees and bushes.  Here they are anyway. The above picture was taken from the gate looking down the driveway as it comes in along the side of the house.

This picture is taken just to the right of the driveway.  There's a sidewalk that leads up to the patio and sliding glass doors that lead into the living room.  There's a nice tiled patio and gazebo out this side of the house.

This picture is taken from just inside the sliding glass doors of the living room looking out over the patio and the yard.  The white fence in the distance is the swimming pool.

Our pool is a nice size pool and larger than most of the private pools we saw at other houses.  We're a little concerned that the shallow end will be too deep for Samantha to touch.

This last picture is taken looking back at the yard from the gate into the pool.

Right now there is not any furniture in the house so it's hard to tell anything from pictures.  I'll post pictures of the inside when we finally get something in it.  Hope you enjoyed.  Signing out for now.

Love,
Zookeeper

Your house is really beautiful. The yard and outbuildings make it look like an estate. I can’t wait to see it. I know that the girls love the pool.

Slow me. I just learned that you could click on the pictures and see them enlarged. It's almost like being there. Thanks for this wonderful blog. Grandpops

I love the house. The kids will love playing in that grassy area. I loved the pictures of Olivia too. I did not see them yesterday when I looked. I am on a different computer so I wonder if that is why. Gram

Hi Kaitlyn,

I love your new house. The yard and pool is so pretty. Swimming is so fun. It is too cold in Birmingham to swim right now.
How is your new school? Tell me about you friends? Are you learning new games and songs? I really like my school. I see my cousins everyday. Grace Anne broke her arm. I remember when Samantha broke her arm, too. Grace Anne has a bright pink cast.
I love riding my bike and scooter in the neighborhood. It looks like your neighborhood would be great for riding a bike.
I miss you and will send you note soon.
I love you
Lauren

Hey Lauren,
I have found a good friend at school named Ayra. It is warm enough to swim here, but we have been swimming at friends' houses not yet at our own. Our pool should be ready to swim in this week, I hope! We move into the house today; I sleep under a mosquito net at my house. Maybe I can post a picture of it sometime. I hope Grace Anne's arm gets well soon. Hugs, Kaitlyn
