Milestones

Well, I've given lots of updates but very little on my little Olivia.  She is growing and changing daily, yet she's still that wonderful little girl. Everywhere we go, people stop us to talk to the "baby" (bebe).

Olivia is continuing with her waving and is met by either total blank stares or complete adoration.   She is crawling everywhere now that she's getting comfortable in our home and hotel room.  She now allows a 10-20 foot distance between the two of us at times instead of 1-2 inches. She has also began pulling to stand in her bed 2 days ago.  I don't think she knows how to get down yet so when I put her to bed, she immediately exercises her new independence and then cries until I have set her down a couple of times.  She's so cute standing there and all you see are her hands and her face from the nose up.  She's also pulling up on us when we're sitting playing with her and she's experimenting with letting go and plopping onto her diaper.  Then we all clap and cheer including Olivia.  :)

She's also becoming more verbal.   It seems to me that this is earlier than with either of the other girls, but I can't exactly remember with Kailtyn.  I remember Kaitlyn was early, but I don't think it was this early.

Instead of the traditional da,da or ball as a first word, her first word was Uh, oh.  She loves to say it and creates her own opportunities to say it by tossing things to the ground and then declaring.... "uh ohhhhh".  She also says da, da and ma, ma and just this week, she has started saying "ank u".  She also loves to sing with her sisters in the car :)

Well, I just wanted to catch you up on the littlest Guffey.  She seems to be adjusting well and just goes with the flow so well that she gets lumped in there with the rest of us in the blogs.  God bless you all.  We hope to hear from you soon.

Love,
Zookeeper

You have the most beautiful children. I do miss them. They look like they are having fun in their new home. Know that you are all loved very, very much.

Hi Kaitlyn,

Sarah and I miss you. We like the pictures of your new house. Do you like your school? Tell me about your new friends. Are you learning new songs and games?
I know you will like swimming in the pool at your house. The pool is a pretty shape.
It is too cold to swim here right now. But, I love riding my bike and scooter. I also love going on walks with my mom.
Talk to you soon.
I love you
Lauren
