Mom, Kaitlyn, Olivia, and I relaxing on the back porch of the Marula House where the 7 Guffey's stayed during a recent get-away out of Lusaka. Karla and Jonathan Kanyanga and Nancy Martin stayed next door.

This is the view of Lake Kariba from our porch. Samantha and Kaitlyn joined Jonathan and I to make sure we didn't get too close to the water's edge

(because of their concern we would be grabbed by crocodiles).

Off to catch the boat for an evening cruise.

Had a good time relaxing...

Being really cute copying momma...

Snuggling with daddy...

Seeing the sights...

Learning about the local fishing trade...

Enjoying the boat ride...

And finally, the sunset.

Next day, enjoying the pool:

Later, Jonathan and I return from fishing. Needless to say, it rained heavily:

and we didn't bring home many fish

But we did learn that one plastic grocery bag is not sufficient to protect cel phones from the rain.
