Preparations

Hey everybody! I am glad you have come to visit and join us on our journey as God leads us to new and exciting (and sometimes scary) places :) This is my first attempt at anything like blogging so I ask that you bear with me as I test new waters. As many of you know, we have been preparing our house for the market over the past month and a half and finally put the sign in the yard a couple of weeks ago. As of 30 minutes ago, we have a contract on our house. This is what we have been hoping and praying for and now that it's here, we feel a little homeless :) There are a couple of contingencies like the home inspection but those should be taken care of in the next week. Right now we have the inspection scheduled for Thursday, May 1st. We ask for your prayers that everything is in good shape and that the inspectors will only find minor things that need attention. If all goes well, our official closing date is May 30th. I'll continue to update as things go along. Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers!

I love the title of the blog. Thanks for giving me the link so I can keep up with the happenings at the zoo! :-) I'm looking forward to reading your online journal often.

Well, you are on your way to Zambia (literally, you are over the ocean as I write this). I can't wait to hear all about what you find when you get there. Take lots of pictures!! I love you!
